In case two-day shipping wasn’t quick enough for some customers, Amazon just rolled out free, one-day shipping on millions of items. The company announced Monday that the perk is now available to Prime members in the continental U.S. on more than 10 million items.
There continues to be no minimum purchase required for the fast shipping with a Prime membership—which costs $119 for the year—and Amazon plans to continue adding more selection and expanding delivery areas. Prime members in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico currently receive their orders in 1-5 days.
Amazon says its most popular one-day items range from books, beauty and baby wipes to devices, dish detergent and doggie bags. Eligible items are labeled “FREE One-Day.”
